ViBi Venezia was founded by sisters Viola and Vera Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga, who combined their love for Venice with their passion for furlane, the city’s traditional slippers. The furlane dates back to the nineteenth century, when women from Friuli crafted shoes from leftover fabrics and old bicycle tires. Beloved by gondoliers for their rubber soles and soft feel, these shoes became a Venetian icon. Inspired by their childhood memories and the quiet beauty of their city, the sisters reimagined this classic with refined colors, rich textures, and a modern spirit.

Each pair of ViBi Venezia slippers is handmade in Italy by skilled artisans who carry on generations of craftsmanship.
