SLOW India

Slow India is a brand from Goa, India started by Pattu (Bhagyashree Patwardhan) now a Madrona resident.

Pattu also owns and operates a concept store- Paper Boat Collective in Goa for the discerning traveller who visits the beautiful beach state of Goa.
At PBC, Pattu curates the work of designers and artisans working in small batch handmade products and with SLOW creates her own designs that are produced in sustainable handwoven fabrics and organic dyes. Most of the production is done with social enterprises or facilities that work with enhancing the skill set of local women.
Here is a small selection of hand sewn bedding from India made in 100% cotton using the traditional handblock printing technique.
